Jason Zhao Founder and CIO
Jason is a hedge fund manager with 13 years of experience in quant trading on both sell-side and buy-side. Investmath Capital was founded by Jason Zhao in 2017.
Prior to starting his hedge fund, Jason was a high frequency trader at Squarepoint Capital, where he traded US equities and futures. Prior to working at Squarepoint, Jason played a role as a quant trader in the FX e-commerce desk at JPMorgan New York. Prior to JPMorgan, Jason began his career as a strategist in the FX algorithmic trading team at Goldman Sachs London.
Jason obtained his MSc (with Distinction) in mathematical and computational finance from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Mathematics from Fudan University.
Yuan Nan Partner and CTO
Dr. Yuan has ten years’ frontier experience in low latency trading system development. Before joining Investmath, he acted as a major technology manager at Squarepoint Capital, managing a global team covering financial markets across the United States, Europe and Asia.
Prior to working for Squarepoint, Dr. Yuan was a technology team lead at CICC (Beijing), where he was involved in designing and developing several quantitative investment systems and reported to the CEO directly.
Dr. Yuan obtained his Ph.D. degree in computer science from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
